July Rally-Cave Country RV Park, Cave City, KY

Jerry and Pat escaped the heat for a few minutes as they toured Mammoth Cave on the self-guided Discovery Tour.

Coaches on a beautiful Friday morning.  Thursday evening there were wind and rain storms.  Two coaches lost awnings.  But folks were all okay and pets were good too.  The area received much needed rain.

More coaches at Cave Country RV.

Meeting room which was air conditioned!  Yeah!

Norm and Larry during breakfast preparations.

Meeting room before breakfast.

The pancake maker.

To the rescue........he had the key to the breaker box.....we overloaded it a tad with all the cooking.

Blade on the meeting room siding.

No breakfast is complete without biscuits and homemade strawberry jam!  I sure got my share of the jam.

Almost ready to eat on Saturday morning.

It was pretty quiet in here at the moment...we were all enjoying the fruits of the fella's work.
Thanks Men!  It was all GREAT!

We had a short meeting after breakfast, Rallies for next year and their hosts will be determined in October at Add-More Campground.
Friday night found us at Sahara Steak House in Cave City.
Saturday night the crew was headed off to Mammoth Cave to eat at their lodge.  We hear fried chicken was the specialty.  Jerry and I had to return home on Saturday due to other commitments and have not heard any reports....so I am guessing it was a good meal.
There were 16 coaches in attendance in all.  Eight member coaches and eight visiting coaches.  Before the weekend was over 2 of those 8 visitors are now members.  We hope next time we have the other six with us for the second time and they join then.

Hope to see you in Indianapolis at the International Rally at the end of August.

Happy Trails!
