A full rainbow on Saturday night after the showers.
| Wow! This was only One of the many wonderful desserts on Saturday night at the pitch-in. |
Wonderful weekend!
No pictures of the golf game at Barren River State Park..but it sounded like the foursome had a great time. They had to wait on the rain to stop before heading out on Friday morning.
Roscoe and Wanda were here this weekend. It was great to see them Wanda had a rough winter and spent way too much time at the hospital but is looking and feeling good!
Louie and Miram were here and looking good wearing their Cardinal shirts.
Bill and Erma were here too. You guys amaze me! Bill changed a tire on the coach on the way up from Florida. Erma was looking a little like a raccoon with all the color around her eyes. She said she was feeling good but had missed a step while loading the motor home for the trip home. I know I have made that kind of step myself...glad she was doing well. They were up and gone before I got up on Sunday morning! Mary Jo and Willis were here and we celebrated Willis's birthday which was on Sunday.
Ed and Linda arrived on Tuesday and did some sightseeing during the week.
Norm and Wendy arrived on Thursday just before we did.
Norm golfed on Friday so Wendy and Pat toured Glasgow. We found a quilt store outside the city (even though it had a Glasgow address) and toured some of the downtown area with some beautiful old homes. And do you know you cannot find a cross stitch kit on a shelf anywhere? We tried Big Lots, Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, K-mart, and the one shop that was specifically for that closed just before we reached them! Anyway our quest caused us to see parts of the town that we would have missed.
Everhards arrived on Friday. Joan, Ross and Joan's mother Nancy. Nancy and her husband spent 15 years full-timing and were the caboose of several caravans to Alaska for Coachman. She is going along with Ross and Joan as their tour guide. We hope to see them in September to get an update on their trip. Nancy you are welcome to come visit anytime.
There were games in the meeting room on Saturday afternoon and food. By the pitch-in no one seemed to be very hungry but I don't think that stopped us from enjoying all the great food.
Thank you Steve and Lisa for hosting such a great weekend!
