Nashville Rally

For the July 2016 rally we will be camping at the Nashville KOA down the street from Opryland Hotel. Teresa & Mark Kinberger are the hosts for the rally.   If you have not made your reservations, you need to do so asap as those sites fill up quickly in the summer.  If you give them our name, they will try and get you close to our site (L3).  There are different level sites there  that have different costs associated with them.  We are on a concrete site, but the row behind us does have some gravel sites at a lesser cost.  Anyways here is the information for the campground:

So Mark and I have had a lot of talks about the itinerary.  There have been a lot of long walks and going back and forth as to what we should do (there is just so much and we love Nashville).  So here is what we have come up with so far:

*Friday Night - dinner at Cock of the Walk.  This restaurant is so much fun and is literally on the edge of the KOA property so you can walk to it.

*Saturday Lunch - we are going to do the General Jackson Lunch Cruise. The cruise takes you down the river to see downtown Nashville from a different perspective.  Mark & I have done the dinner crises and throughly enjoy them.  I have not done the lunch cruise, but cannot imagine it would not be up to the General Jackson’s wish standards.   The lunch cruise  will be $65/person.  They cannot reserve us tables together since we are not paying as one group.  If you want to make sure you sit with someone then I would suggest you call and make your reservations together.  I have included below the info on the lunch cruise for you to check it out.  Here is the reservation info on the General Jackson:

*Saturday Dinner - Mark and I are going to serve soup & cornbread at our RV site.  We figured we will be having such a big lunch that we would do something simple for dinner.

*Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings  there will be a continental breakfast at our RV site.  

Of course we will be throwing in some dessert/snack opportunities too!

For those coming in Thursday - Mark & I will be going to the Catfish restaurant up the street that we like and would love for you guys to join us.  They have a big catfish pond in the middle of the restaurant and serve table side Smores!
