Update from Rick and Lauren about June Rally

 

 

Just a follow-up note to remind everyone to make your reservations for the June 16-19 rally at Dale Hollow in Celina, Tennessee.

 

For reservations you can go on line to http://www.recreation.gov/ then find your way to the "Dale Hollow Dam Site (TN)".  We have reserved Site #42, which is the large site that Art and Pat Zeller introduced us to last time that has a stone fireplace and room enough for a tent .  Please note that while not all of the sites at this park are available on line, you can still reserve them by calling the Manager's Office at 931-243-3136 for those sites not available on line.

 

For those of you wondering about road conditions, Willis and Mary Jo Eadens report that Highway 90 from Glasgow to Burkesville is now completed; you can then take Highway 61 from Burkesville into Celina.  And for those coming in from points north, the State Patrol reports that although Highway 61 between Columbia and Burkesville remains under construction, much more of it is now 4-lane and is much improved compared to years past.

 

We will be hosting the traditional pitch-in dinner and are planning a golf outing as well; additional details to follow.
