Welcome to FMCA-Cardinals Blog

Our Hosts this Weekend
Louie & Miriam?

If you missed being at the Rally at General Butler this weekend you missed out on a good time.

We were invited to a Senior Citizen dinner on Thursday night provided on the river in Carrollton.  We were to dress as old timers.  The meal was stew, beans, cornbread, corn relish, slaw, and cobbler for desserts.

Friday night our wonderful hosts provided the fixins' for a ham sandwich dinner and there was plenty of recipes swapped or at least promises of swaps after we tasted the pitch-in.  They are heading out for a wonderful trip and we are so thankful their refrigerator problems were resolved with a fuse.

Saturday night we ate in Downtown Carrollton at Down on Main Street.

Willis and Mary Jo provided campfires, marshmallows, and drinks after our evening meals.

Lauren was a little delayed in joining the rally activities this weekend.  About two a.m on Saturday she became Grandma to a beautiful baby girl.  This is the first grand baby.  You could see that "grandma" smile from afar.

Doc provided homemade strawberry ice cream on Saturday night after the football game.  Anytime you want to make ice cream we will come eat it.

Saturday afternoon found Bill and Erma getting us active with their corn hole game.

Saturday night there were televisions tuned into games.  U of L was playing in Doc and Lauren's I am not sure which teams were playing on the other one.

October Rally is at Add-More Campground, hosted by Larry & Judy Thorneycroft.
Hope to see you all there.
